I have often sprouted the works of Einstein, David Suzuki and Joseph S. Campbell as several of my intellectual and spiritual mentors.
Of course reading the Christian Bible, the Torah and the Koran and especially the Thomasin bible ... and I mean really reading in between the lines, are real eye openers.
Getting your hands on books by Gardner, Crowley and especially Macgregor Mather and reading their interpretation of the Occult, Magic and Metaphysics opens the mind to deep thought ... There has been many influences behind the development of my own philosophies and spirituality.
Due largely to the CONSISTENT harassment of detractors and the stress that some of them have caused me over the years, I have often wandered off my own path and went astray ...I have SINNED ... the word SIN actually comes from the Greek word which interpreted means to "Miss the mark" as the original bible was written in Greek ...
I actually never knew that to be honest ...until recently.
Yes... recently ... my beloved Dragonfly (Louise) gave me a gift(s) out of the blue .... I mean it was not my birthday ...not a special occasion ... she just gave me this little parcel and said I love you.
In the parcel was two books and two T-Shirts. On one T-Shirt was the words; "Grumpy Old Man" (Lol) ... the second T-Shirt I wear with pride especially after all the comments by some of my detractors who wrote on-line that I have a "Psychological Illness" ... and I am sure all of you will love this...the second T-Shirt has written on it; "I Don't Suffer From Insanity. I enjoy Every Moment of It!" This is one of my new precious Treasures ... the books were equally special.
One was the autobiography of Michael J. Fox a person I have great admiration for considering his battle with Parkinson ... but it was the second book which was the greatest Treasure ...
After reading only ONE Chapter of it...I felt Revitialised ... Evolved ...ready to step back on my path ... to Regain my Spirituality and Walk My Talk ... I never heard of it before or the author (these Hermit Caves can become quiet isolating) ,,, Lord Helel (Joseph's) article of Self-Examination was quiet inspiring. He originally posted his essay in his own group ...and I virtually begged him in one of our phone calls not to publish it anywhere else as I would love to publish it in the Cosmic Cauldron Newsletter.
The real reason I urged him to allow me to do this was because of the book that Dragonfly had presented me ...
I urge HIM and all of you to get your hands on this book and read it ... it could be called a Self Help book ... but it is actually a tool ...a road map ... a support mechanism for your own "Self-Examination" ... a way to re-evaluate your journey. It has INSPIRED me ... and The Wayfinder of Old is back ...
The Book is titled "A New Earth" by Eckhart Tolle (and it is Available at Amazon or you could go here: http://www.eckharttolle.com/eckharttolle I could of wrote this book myself but differently. Echart thinks like me ... but where as I have floundered he is The Master.
At the very least after reading his book you will understand where I am coming from.
